{"id":9324,"date":"2026-04-01T10:32:32","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T10:32:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aisfor.it\/the-deadline-for-the-epah-call-for-technical-assistance-has-been-extended-to-april-17\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T10:36:46","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T10:36:46","slug":"the-deadline-for-the-epah-call-for-technical-assistance-has-been-extended-to-april-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aisfor.it\/en\/the-deadline-for-the-epah-call-for-technical-assistance-has-been-extended-to-april-17\/","title":{"rendered":"The deadline for the EPAH call for technical assistance has been extended to April 17"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications are open until <strong>17 April 2026 at 18:00 (CET)<\/strong> for the <a href=\"https:\/\/energy-poverty.ec.europa.eu\/technical-assistance-call?etrans=it\"><strong>EPAH 2026 call for technical assistance on energy poverty<\/strong><\/a>, aimed at local administrations of European Union countries, also in partnership with other actors in the area.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call, active from <strong>16 February 2026 (9:00 CET),<\/strong> provides a personalized technical assistance service aimed at strengthening capacities, tools and knowledge to support local policies and actions to combat energy poverty.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/energy-poverty.ec.europa.eu\/\">The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub<\/a> (EPAH) is the European Commission&#8217;s main initiative dedicated to combating energy poverty. Launched in 2020, EPAH operates as a European competence platform on the subject, working alongside municipalities, public bodies and local actors to address energy poverty in a structured and consistent way with different local contexts. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EPAH provides a technical assistance service assigned through a dedicated tender. The assistance accompanies local administrations and territorial partners in the different phases of the work on energy poverty: <strong>analysis of the context, definition of strategies and intervention plans and support for the implementation of actions<\/strong>. The selected projects receive expert support for a period of up to <strong>9 months<\/strong>, with an estimated commitment of <strong>between 60 and 150 hours<\/strong>, through both remote and face-to-face working methods.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For 2026, EPAH plans to select <strong>about 50 proposals<\/strong>, <strong>of which 20 are dedicated to territories characterized by severe energy poverty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme has already concluded two editions of technical assistance, launched in 2022 and 2023, working with around <strong>85 local administrations across Europe<\/strong>.
