{"id":9035,"date":"2024-10-01T09:00:09","date_gmt":"2024-10-01T09:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aisfor.it\/progetto\/assert\/"},"modified":"2026-07-21T09:40:05","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T09:40:05","slug":"assert","status":"publish","type":"progetto","link":"https:\/\/www.aisfor.it\/en\/progetto\/assert\/","title":{"rendered":"ASSERT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Large-scale multiactor training and mentoriship programme to ASSist people with physical impairments in energy povERTy  <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ASSERT project, funded by the European programme <a href=\"https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/life\/publicWebsite\/project\/LIFE23-CET-ASSERT-101167584\/large-scale-multiactor-training-and-mentoriship-programme-to-assist-people-with-physical-impairments-in-energy-poverty\">(LIFE LIFE23-CET-ASSERT),<\/a> has as its main objective the support of people with physical disabilities, who, having greater energy needs and lower incomes, are particularly vulnerable to energy poverty. Responding to their specific needs can break the vicious circle of worsening health conditions, often exacerbated by difficult housing conditions caused by energy poverty. The project also recognises that many key actors, such as local policy-makers and civil society intermediaries, lack the appropriate skills and knowledge to effectively address these issues. For this reason, ASSERT will offer an integrated and specific training and mentoring program, providing them with the necessary skills to address the full spectrum of energy poverty issues.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ASSERT programme takes a bottom-up participatory approach, developing training and mentoring from a SWOT analysis of existing trainings and a gap analysis in the target groups. Through personalized mentoring, ASSERT provides direct support to intermediaries, helping them to support vulnerable people in adopting more efficient and renewable-based energy solutions. The project involves the implementation of training programmes for frontline workers, such as health workers and social workers, so that they can identify households affected by energy poverty and provide them with practical information on how to reduce energy consumption and access cheaper and more innovative energy sources. In addition to this, ASSERT offers targeted training courses for households directly affected by energy poverty, especially those with low digital skills, with the aim of improving their energy and digital awareness, enabling them to better manage their energy consumption and bills and actively participate in the transition to more sustainable energy.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To help policymakers understand energy poverty and disability by providing training to local officials to integrate energy poverty and disability into energy policies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train intermediaries to support those in need through training of social workers and community organisations on energy poverty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting people with disabilities in meeting their energy needs by offering special resources for those facing high energy costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Measure the impact of the training and mentoring programme by assessing the effectiveness of the programme in connecting energy poverty and disability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Actions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Offer data and recommendations to integrate energy poverty and disability into energy policies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launch a mentorship program for municipalities and intermediaries involving 5 municipalities in a participatory process to analyze and fill knowledge gaps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support intermediaries in training on energy poverty and disability by providing training and resources to help disabled people meet their energy needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor the impact of the mentorship program by collecting data on the effectiveness of training and mentorship and adjusting resources based on results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finalise the project results and create a strategy to ensure sustainable use of the resources created<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Large-scale multiactor training and mentoriship programme to ASSist people with physical impairments in energy povERTy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":9224,"menu_order":0,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[138,135,139,140],"class_list":["post-9035","progetto","type-progetto","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-energy-renewable-communities","category-ongoing","category-policy-development","category-social-inclusion"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
