Coming to Rome: The Third Annual Conference on Energy Poverty - Save the Date for March 22nd
On March 22nd, Rome will host the third Annual Congress on Energy Poverty, organized by Aisfor in collaboration with Rete Assist and the Agenda 21 Coordination. The event is presented as a crucial moment of discussion in anticipation of the presentation of the National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) to the European Commission, scheduled for June 30th.
The conference will be structured into various sessions, with speakers from European, national, and local institutions, as well as entities and associations active in the energy and environmental sectors. During the session dedicated to European policies and initiatives, Elena Donnari from the European Commission will outline EU policies on energy poverty, followed by presentations on the EPAH project and the LIFE NECPlatform project.
The following session will focus on national policies and initiatives, with speakers discussing the update of the National Energy and Climate Plans, the National Energy Poverty Observatory, and other initiatives such as the "Italy in Class A" campaign and the EPIC project.
The third session will address regional and municipal policies and initiatives, giving voice to representatives from various Italian municipalities and regions who will share their experiences and strategies in combating energy poverty on the ground.
Finally, the conference will conclude with an afternoon session dedicated to interactive workshops, where topics such as the role of Household Energy Advisory (TED), energy communities, building local networks against energy poverty, and more will be addressed.
The event represents an important opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices in the field of combating energy poverty, actively involving institutions, local authorities, associations, and interested stakeholders. The participation and collaboration of all involved parties are essential to develop effective and sustainable solutions to address this critical challenge.
The afternoon session will be interactive and dedicated to workshops. Participants will have the opportunity to choose the workshop they wish to attend by selecting their preference directly in the registration form.
