As part of the RENOVERTY project, active in the province of Parma, energy audits will be conducted in selected buildings during the month of October.

An energy audit, or energy diagnosis, is an analysis procedure aimed at taking a snapshot of the actual energy consumption of a building or business, an industrial plant or an activity. Carrying out an energy audit means knowing and measuring the energy use of a given building or facility and, consequently, identifying possible energy efficiency and energy-saving measures.        

With the help of the LAG del Ducato and some of its members, we were able to identify around 8 buildings, each with their own characteristics, where energy audits could be carried out. Once the diagnoses are completed, a meeting will be organised in the area to inform stakeholders and citizens of the results.

Finally, the audits will allow us to structure the roadmaps for starting the renovation processes in the buildings that fall within the analysed typologies.
