Even when a course is free, it is not "automatic" that it is chosen: today the training offer is wide and the real competition is on people's time and attention.
For a just transition
COMANAGE – Course promotion campaign
The activity — Competing for people's time and making the COMANAGE course recognizable
In the current context, those who work on energy and transition are faced with many training proposals, often fragmented and difficult to compare: it is not immediate to understand which path is really worth the time invested, what it offers in practice and to whom it is addressed. In this scenario, even quality initiatives risk going unnoticed or not reaching the most relevant recipients.
The COMANAGE campaign was created to respond to this need with a clear objective: to make a complex issue such as that of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) accessible and engaging, proposing useful tools to understand its functioning and benefits in a light and informative way. The heart of the campaign was the slogan “Take training with you on vacation”, an invitation to take advantage of the summer time to acquire new skills through the COMANAGE training course hosted on the training platform, transforming the summer break into an opportunity for personal and professional growth.
How we work — "Value-based" communication to get the right audience from message to sign-up
Thanks to the ability to integrate technical content, dissemination skills and knowledge of the needs of professional and institutional audiences, AISFOR has built a clear and coherent communication that focuses on the concrete usefulness of the training course and facilitates access.
- Set up and carry out the analysis of targets and information needs: definition of the audiences to be intercepted and the key information necessary to quickly understand the value, contents and recipients of the training course.
- Defined the key messages of the campaign: construction of a set of coherent messages to explain why to participate, what is learned and what practical utility the course offers.
- The editorial narrative of the social campaign was designed: structuring the content in a "step-by-step" sequence to accompany the public from interest to the choice to subscribe.
- Produced and published social content and call to action: creation of posts and dissemination materials, with clear invitations to enrolment and operational instructions for accessing the course.
- Set up and manage campaign monitoring and optimization: reading interactions and feedback to progressively refine content, messages and methods of engagement.
The AISFOR contribution — What remains: a replicable model of mobile OSS (stages, stops, materials, method)
- A replicable campaign system to promote training on technical topics (narrative logic and message structure).
- A set of "value" messages and content designed to bring out the usefulness and recipients of the course immediately.
- An approach oriented towards transforming visibility into action (attention → understanding → registration/participation).
- A monitoring approach useful for improving effectiveness and adherence to the public's information needs over time.

The COMANAGE Campaign was developed within the LIFE COMANAGE project (LIFE21- CET-ENERCOM-COMANAGE/101076753, 11/2022–11/2025), funded by the European LIFE programme, with the aim of strengthening governance and management of energy communities by addressing legal, administrative, financial and social barriers through the creation of the Energy Communities Governance Toolkit (ECGT), the activation of integrated online and offline services/hubs,
training with e-learning support and strategic recommendations to make the results replicable; for context and overall results visit the COMANAGE project page.
Do you want to bring to your municipality a desk that informs, accompanies and makes citizens protagonists of the energy transition? AISFOR provides experience, tools and an operating model already tested in the field.
Replicating this model is possible: contact us and we will work together on its realization.
