The European ENTRACK project, which will end in October 2026, is preparing for its final event: the ENTRACK Final Conference, an event that will bring together project partners, policymakers, researchers, practitioners and stakeholders committed to promoting a fair and inclusive energy transition in rural areas.
The event will be held on 30 September 2026, from 09:00 to 14:00, at the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels (VMA Room 21, 2nd floor, Rue Van Maerlant 2, 1040 Brussels).
The conference will be an important opportunity to review the results achieved by the project, share the experiences gained during the pilot activities and reflect on the future prospects of policies for a socially fair energy transition in rural territories.
The 4th European Community of Practice
The central moment of the day will be the 4th European Community of Practice (CoP) of ENTRACK, dedicated to policy recommendations and good practices that emerged from the experiences developed in the partner countries.
The meeting will encourage discussion between project partners, experts and representatives of institutions, with the aim of discussing how to strengthen increasingly inclusive, participatory and locally rooted approaches, capable of effectively accompanying the energy transition in rural communities.
The Community of Practice represents a space for mutual learning and collaboration, where knowledge, tools and experiences can be shared to support local administrations and stakeholders in the adoption of sustainable energy policies that are attentive to social dimensions.
