GREEN JOBS

The GREEN JOBS project was born from the opportunities offered by the ever-growing green economy sector capable of creating new jobs. In this area, new professional figures are emerging, who are required to have specific skills in the field of sustainable development, environmental protection and energy saving. The primary purpose of green jobs is therefore to produce goods and services with techniques that respect the environment and nature.

Green employment opportunities concern various sectors: the production, supply and sale of renewable energy, the agri-food sector, tourism, construction, architecture, engineering, biotechnology, transport, waste management

The thrust of the green economy is therefore transversal and concerns many more sectors than those traditionally linked to the environment. Then there are activities, services and professions instrumental to the growth of the green sector, such as design for the creation of new eco-products, information technology for the creation of new software, marketing to communicate the environmental value of a company and its activities, economists and lawyers who are experts in specific legislation.

In recent years, the contribution of green jobs to the demand for labour has increased in all macro-sectors of activity, testifying to the pervasiveness of the green economy. Milan, Turin, Naples and Rome are in the top ten of the provinces with the highest intensity of demand for green jobs out of the total provincial labour demand.

The project provides orientation and training services for the benefit of users of the RIESCO card included in the catalog approved by the Lazio Region on 19/12/2017.

The services offered by AISFOR in Association with Ecotraining and Res Nova are detailed on the page of the website dedicated to the orientation services and courses provided by the GREEN JOBS project approved in the RIESCO regional catalog

The need for guidance and training of figures operating in the green economy in general is high and the project proposes 5 professional paths within the project that are configured with high potential for employability and inclusion in the socio-economic context of the Metropolitan Area of Rome Capital.

The paths were identified following a careful analysis of the needs in the field, on the desk and in the light of the experience gained. The figures are characterized by the common green value, with medium-high accessibility (entry requirements) and aimed at heterogeneous market sectors in strong growth for both the young and over 50 target in the socio-economic context of reference.
