E-Green Jobs

Skills and competence of workers employed in green sector with e-learning technology use (E-Green Jobs)

E-Green Jobs is a European Innovation Transfer (ToI) project to help fill the need for professionals who are experts in green issues in Poland.

E-Green Jobs funded under the Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) (2013-1-PL1-LEO05-37625). The project started on 1 October 2013 and has a two-year duration (30 September 2015).

Objective

E-green Jobs aims to create an IT platform to assess the knowledge gaps of green sector technicians in Poland thanks to the transfer of the IT infrastructure by the Hungarian partner and the modules and educational content by AISFOR and the Portuguese partner.

E-green Jobs was born from the results of an accurate analysis of the context and of the training/professional needs in Poland in the “green” sector, the results of which revealed the absence of some professional figures and the need for better professional training in the current Polish economy and business fabric, particularly in the sectors related to energy and agriculture. E-green Jobs aims to develop professional skills in the “green” sector in Poland of the following professional profiles:

– experts in the energy certification of buildings, designers and architects;

– young farmers (under 40) looking for additional income;

– technicians/installers looking for new job opportunities, with preference for the unemployed;

– operators who deal with the installation of companies – SMEs.

Coordinated by a Polish body, it sees the collaboration of partners from 4 European countries.

Planned activities

As part of the two-year E-Green Jobs work plan, the activities that will be carried out are:

– Analysis of the training needs of the “Green” sector in the countries involved Poland, Portugal, Hungary and Italy – User Needs Analysis,

Evaluation of the results of the analysis to identify the most sought-after professionals in Poland, their level of qualification within the Polish professional qualifications system and the skills they need to have and, if anything, the compulsory training course,

– Creation of the content for the IT platform for the evaluation of the knowledge gap (mainly through the transfer and adaptation of the one made available by the transferring partners: AISFOR, ADENE and NAREW),

– Creation of the IT platform for the evaluation of acquired and missing skills,

– Validation of the platform and its contents.

As part of E-green Jobs, AISFOR will transfer the training modules successfully developed and delivered in recent years and will also provide support with the sharing of its skills gained in this sector both as a training institution and as an expert body in the sector. In particular, AISFOR supports the Polish partner NAREW, recipient of the transfer of innovation, to acquire skills in the management of agricultural enterprises.

AISFOR will carry out its activities in Italy in strong synergy with the main players in the “green” market and the vocational training market.

Expected results

– Carried out the analysis of the needs of the “green” sector in all countries – User Needs Analysis.

– Define and build ontologies for the green technician.

– Created the IT platform for the evaluation of acquired skills and knowledge gaps.

– The evaluation test for the “green” technician with basic skills on solar systems, biomass and water energy has been published on the STUDIO IT platform.
