Energy poverty: a new deepening at European level

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy – DG ENER has launched a study on the approaches used in different European countries to identify people and households affected by energy poverty.
Rome presents the Hot Plan: a strategy to protect the most vulnerable people

On 2 July, Roma Capitale presented the Heat Plan, the city’s first integrated strategy proposal to reduce the impact of heat waves in neighbourhoods. The meeting focused on an increasingly urgent challenge: adapting the city to a climate that has already changed, strengthening health protection, the livability of public spaces and the protection of the most vulnerable people.
AISFOR and the ASSERT project at the Contractors’ European Meeting on Energy Poverty

On 19 and 20 May 2026 AISFOR, as coordinator of the European project ASSERT (Addressing energy poverty and disability through local action, training and empowerment), participated in the Contractors’ Meeting on Energy Poverty organized by CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency) in Brussels.
